The
Emu and the Eagle
by
Katrina Lybbert
The
emu is an unusual bird,
Not
like an eagle, have you heard?
The
emu stands up very tall,
He
makes the eagle look quite small.
But
when the eagle's wings art spread,
They
reach the length of a feather bed.
The
emu runs but cannot fly,
Up
like the eagle soaring high.
Their
feathers are quite different too,
See
for yourself, go to the zoo.
The
emu is an unusual bird,
Not
like an eagle, and now you've heard!
