Line up the Shoes
This is a game was discovered by our daughter! She loves to take shoes and line them up in a row. Start with a pile of shoes and show your toddler how to place them together in pairs and line them up along a wall. Don't worry if your toddler doesn't match up all the pairs, but placing them in a line should be a fun task!
Bach: Siciliano from Sonata No. 4 for Keyboard & Violin BWV 1017
I'm a Little Teapot

Arts and Crafts
The
art lessons will begin at Lesson 11. Until then just introduce your
toddler to jumbo crayons and paper. Scribble away!

Dr. Seuss's ABC: An Amazing Alphabet Book (Bright & Early Board Book)
Proverbs 15:29
"The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous."
"Corner-of-the-Street" from When We Were Very Young by A. A. Milne
Suggestion: Teach the sign for BUTTERFLY.
(Depending on the season of the year you can rearrange these suggestions to work for you -- see the outdoor games link above.)
Sleigh Ride -- this would have to be done in the winter with snow. Using a baby sleigh and wrapping your toddler up warmly, enjoy pulling your toddler in the snow. Stop and take notice of nature around you.
If you don't have snow where you live, just take many walks with a stroller.
Recorder Fun -- you can purchase a soprano recorder for less than $10.00. Teach your toddler how to carefully treat the instrument, and then let him have fun blowing away. Purchase one for yourself and learn to play. It is a great instrument to learn for anyone, no matter your musical background. It also provides a fun way to make music together as a family. Eventually you can add alto, tenor, bass, and sopranino recorders to your family recorder consort. Of course it will still be a few years away before you toddler can really play the instrument, but it makes for a fun and easy introduction to a real instrument. Visit Dolmetsch Online for help with recorder playing.
Yao Yah Yao (Mandarin) from the Lullabies Around the World CD
Foot Puppets -- this is a fun alternative to always using your hands to move puppets. Create puppets out of socks and place on your feet, your toddler's feet, too. Lay on your back and watch your puppets move.
Choose from the list of suggestions according to the current season.
